Stunning pictures Jen. WOW on the captures and colours.
Trish says
ps what lens and settings did you use ?
Jen says
Thanks so much Trish. I used a canon 450d with a 17-40mm lens (a reasonably new purchase). I tend to use this lens the most now. More about it here http://www.kenrockwell.com/canon/lenses/17-40mm.htm. I usually shoot in aperture mode. Not sure if I’m using the right terminology. And I do a bit of post-processing to boost the colours a bit. If you view the photos on Flickr can you see the settings under additoinal info or is that just me? Try it anyhow.

These are divine Jen, my kids LOVED looking at them. How amazing to have them land on your shoulder!

We were pretty happy that they did. There were so many of them and they were gorgeous.

I’m happy for YOU, that they landed on yous and you got to take the shots. Awesome. . If I took my kids in there at the moment, they’d be running around too fast for them to come anywhere near us! Great photos 🙂

Butterflys are gorgeous, and they are meant to be “Angels” touching us 🙂
I love the colours, and how close you got to them.
