Where does it go?

May 30, 2011 by Jen

In-between appointments. Day 181/365.

Monday, 23 May 2011, Day 181/365.

I  had two meetings in the city with over an hour to kill between the end of the first one and the start of the second one. I walked around and browsed in shops and then just decided to go and have a coffee.

As it turns out the first one was a successful meeting and it’s resulted in me getting at least one month’s work which I started on Friday. The hours are pretty good, the money’s not bad and the work will be a blessed relief after nearly four months out of paid employment.

See the headline at the top of the page of the open paper? I only noticed it when writing this post and I wonder where those four months went. I knew that my period of unemployment wouldn’t last forever and I know I will look back upon it wistfully.
