Peak hour

May 31, 2011 by Jen

Traffic. Day 182/365.

Tuesday, 24 May 2011, Day 182/365.

It’s pretty much dark around 5.30pm these days. It’s just under a month to go until the shortest day of the year not that I want to wish the time away because it goes too damn quickly as it is.

I have to cross a busy arterial road to get my son from after school care which I’ve kept him in while out of work because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get him back in when I got work again. He enjoys being there too.

So I have to wait at the pedestrian lights for what seems like an age in the cold, dark and sometimes wet. At least I know I’ve got a warm house to get back to and hopefully I’ve remembered to take my apron off this time after cooking.
