It’s winter now

June 2, 2004 by Jen at Semantically driven

It’s well and truly winter here now. I came to work in the rain and I think it’s still raining although I couldn’t tell as I don’t have the luxury of windows near me in my place of work. It’s dark by 5.30pm and light at 7.30am but it’s nearly the shortest day of the year so I’ll be glad once that’s over and it starts to stay lighter for longer.

I haven’t been up to much lately which is probably why I haven’t posted much that’s not Big Brother related. My bedroom renovations are nearly done. I’m waiting on a new blind for the window but don’t know what’s happening there as the person who was supposed to come round and measure up never turned up and I can’t contact her. I sort of know her through a friend so it’s really quite strange so I hope she’s ok but it’s really annoying I’ll have to put off moving back into my bedroom just cause I have no blind. Don’t want to sleep in there without one even though it’s not light until 7.30 and I usually get a wake up call at 6am.
