After we visited that man in the red suit the other day we went to the museum as well so JJ could see some dinosaur skeletons. It’s been a long time since I went to the museum – over 20 years I think – apart from exhibition openings in the foyer so I was interested to see what it was like as well.
I love how JJ gets caught up in looking at stuff and dragging me around at a whirlwind pace to see the next thing and asking lots of questions about things I have no idea about at all. Lucky I can read and just recite what the museum has provided in the way of information for its exhibition pieces.
With our museum visit over we walked along North Terrace which has been done up fairly recently to include some garden and water features. I thought I’d try out my camera on the sport setting. I can do things more manually with shutter speed and aperture but haven’t figured it out enough to do without the instructions on hand so the sport setting had to suffice.
I got some good shots of the fountain outside the art gallery. Here they be. And as we head into a hot day of 38 degrees celsius tomorrow and cannot put on a sprinkler most of the time due to water restrictions, looking at cascading water like this would have to do if we weren’t going to the beach.
