Time out

August 25, 2008 by Jen

Tonight I got home from work, and immediately started whizzing around doing bits and pieces. One job I did was water the flower seedlings we planted over the weekend after the mammoth weeding effort.

As I stood there watering them I breathed out a big sigh and thought that this is what I’d rather be doing than being at work.

I would have twittered this, but it would have had to have been two parts.

I’ve had the same thought as well about bike riding. If only someone would pay me full time wages to bike around Seattle…

And yeah, it’s hard to decide what to do with those little thoughts that are bigger than a tweet but smaller than a post. I may re-install a mini-blog format just for that reason.

Thanks Jay. I was just watching a program on tv the other night about how many people get into gardening when they get older. Maybe that’s me? It’s certainly a lot less stressful than work! Good to see you back on deck too.

I don’t think there’s any harm in doing little posts like this. Lots of people seem to do it. But it’s not normally something I do on this blog. Perhaps I’ll start.
