Rhubarb, I pretty much always went with my parents so the cheap wine didn’t come my way. Plus I was a Miss goody two shoes until after I left school.

Oh yes, club meals were great and the (cheap) wine was so errr cheap! As a teen, I got into many a fun night at the country football does. Thanks for the memories

And what else did you get up to behind the hall Jeanie? Hmmm? I also have memories of going to parties with mum and dad to friends places on a farm and we would run around in the dark and scare the hell out of each other. It was great fun.

What a lovely reminisce (can’t spell for nuts today).

When we were kids, there was old-time dancing at the local hall once a month – we always begged to go, not for the dancing but the chance to play with all the other kids behind the hall while the adults were dancing.
