Last May my sister's son drowned in a nearby lake, then my Dad had a series of surgeries, then my Grandmother got cancer, then my cousin's wife found a brain tumor, our friends' baby was stillborn, another friend found breast cancer and another friend's child found a cancerous brain tumor. It got to the point where we felt like things were crashing down around us and we kept thinking, "What next?" What a year it was. Yes, it’s irrational but I know what you mean!
