I think someone in the police force will be losing their job over this one. I don’t think the chaser guys care too much about that kind of collateral damage to their stunts. I just hope whoever gets fired doesn’t have a wife and kids who end up going without because of their TV stunt.

Maybe I have no sense of humor, me personally I would have found it utterly heart breaking if one of them ended up being shot and killed by a sniper because they wanted to play pranks. They put themselves in danger and for what?

And can you imagine the damage that would have done to the person who pulled the trigger, because there is zero tolerance there right now and they got too close to the wrong person?

I don’t think they care about the damage their pranks could do to people. I think they should.

There’s a time to be funny, and there’s a time to be serious. They should seriously think about when those times are..

When I watch The Chaser, half of me is laughing and the other half is grimacing.

This one, however, I think was grand – the uproar is that they got SO far before being caught – says more about APEC security than about the naughty boys on Chaser. I mean, they got closer to Bush than they got to prisoners on last weeks “take a weapon in to jail” stunt.

Good on the chasers I think the whole apec in sydney is a joke ! why was’nt it held in canberra ? wot johnny did’nt think he’d get enough attention there in our capital !!I realy don’t understand why it was’nt

good on the chasers for sticking it up the apec conference

its a load of bullcrap that taxpayers have to fork out millions of dollars so that george and jonooy can get dressed up int heir funny little outfits, and im bloody glad that at leat a few people rebelled against it.

I love the Chaser boys and their show, so I’m aware that I’m a bit biased when I say I found this prank harmless, and, indeed, hilarious.

And I’m not ashamed to admit I’m thrilled they managed to get video footage of the incident back to the studio before their arrest.

Well, obviously its an insane thing to do – but very hilarious i must admit.
It is only seen as ‘harmless fun’ cos it was done by the well known and publicly popular TV group. Had any other group of people done it i bet it would have been looked upon more seriously by the public.

WE LOVE Chaser too.
Think I’ll call him Smokey from now on because he’s great at putting out bush fires….lol…that was funny if I do say so myself.
