When I admit to people that I watch Big Brother, I jokingly say that because I’ve watched Australian Big Brother since it’s inception, I’ve just about enough fodder for a PhD thesis.
I mentioned this the other day at a work lunch and someone thought I was actually doing my doctorate on Big Brother. I did set them straight.
I wonder if someone’s already doing it?

I am not sure whether it is WORTH IT, but I am sure someone out there is doing at least a study on it for their masters.
I once had a girlfriend do an analysis of Days of Our Lives for a media studies subject – she discovered that you could watch 5 minutes of the show each day and follow a complete story line (so long as it was the same 5 minutes).
