I know several people who have had that stent put in an artery in their neck. They say it really helps. The time you're spending with you Dad is an important thing for both of you. Somehow the other things get put on the back burner, and it becomes more okay than you thought. It's during these times that the priorities in life become very obvious. Hugs to you... My dad probably shouldn't technically be driving a car because of a bleed behind his eye about 10 years ago - ah, but country blokes, can't take the keys away from them! His biggest angst has been his knees - had to replace them but would not until someone promised he would be able to get back on a horse after!!! It sounds like he is doing brilliantly well, and it is always nice to get a reprieve with your loved ones, because you appreciate them so much more!
